Dan Patch freshman trotting colt Possess The Will tops a list of 108 trotting colts eligible to the 87th Hambletonian, the richest and most prestigious event in harness racing. Possess The Will, from the first crop of 2007 Hambletonian winner Donato Hanover, is owned by Jules Siegel’s Fashion Farm and trained by Jim Campbell. March 2012~Gural Makes Three Year Commitment to Hambletonian
Heats Return in 2013; Hambletonian Maturity Race Added
An agreement to host the Hambletonian, the flagship event at The Meadowlands Racetrack for 30 years, has been finalized between leaseholder Jeff Gural and the Hambletonian Society, which owns and administers the Hambletonian Stake. A newr ace for 4-year-old trotters, the Hambletonian Maturity, has also been created.
